EP Chamber ‘Money Tree Hunt’ Encourages Residents To Shop Local


EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A treasure worth $250 is hidden somewhere in Evergreen Park in honor of Small Business Saturday. The Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce has launched a “Money Tree Hunt” designed to encourage residents to shop local during the holidays and all year long. The one-day Money Tree Hunt takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27. Participation in the hunt is free and no purchase is necessary. RSVP online before the hunt begins Saturday to pick up the contest guidelines, and to receive clues while on the trail. After you RSVP online, check your email, the chamber website, or Facebook page on Nov. 26 or listen to the latest edition of EP Podcast to pick your first clue.The contest will start at First National Bank of Evergreen Park, 3960 W. 95th St., where you can pick up your first clue and the contest rules. Clues will be hidden at participating Evergreen Park businesses. The chamber hopes to wrap up the contest by 2 p.m. and crown the lucky finder.
